Microsoft Not Happy with Google's DoubleClick Deal
Microsoft is not happy after Google's recent $3.1 billion bid for advertising network operator DoubleClick. Microsoft is so upset about the situation that they have called for a review of the deal.

One of the differences between Microsoft and Apple, as I see it, is for example that Microsoft seems to design after the wish list of programmers, IT-people, and Apple does it the opposite, and only right, way: the designers tell the developers what to do and work together closely with them. You can clearly see it in this video. And they don't give to much about marketing research. People can't tell you how do a great product. All that customers want is more features for free

The full version of the 1997 Boston Macworld expo where we see Steve Jobs for the first time since returning to work for Apple after being gone since 1985. This was a very historic time for Apple because they were almost bankrupt at the time, so Steve announces a temporary partnership with Microsoft to a very hostile crowd. Bill Gates also makes an appearance.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999) is an unauthorized made-for-television docudrama written and directed by Martyn Burke. Based upon the book, Fire in the Valley: The Making of The Personal Computer, by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine, this film documents the rise of the home computer/personal computer through the rivalry between Apple Computer (Apple II and the Apple Macintosh) and Microsoft (DOS, IBM PC, and Windows).
The central story of the film begins in the early 1970s and ends in 1985 when Steve Jobs resigned from Apple Computer. The film is also structured by a set of "book ends": it begins and ends with Jobs' return to Apple in 1997.
